POLICE are urging drivers to obey the speed limit after a car overturned on newly laid road surfacing between Liskeard and Looe.

East Cornwall response officer Sergeant Chris Chilcott said he attended the collision yesterday on the B3252.

’The driver with three months’ experience had rolled their car. A new road surface had been laid that morning with a temp speed limit of 20mph,’ he said.

’The driver was unhurt.

’Please obey the speed limit it is there for a reason.’
