Police and emergency services are at Cotehele Quay following the discovery of the body of a man in his 80s at around 8.25am today - the body was recovered at 11.30am.

Police enquiries continue, but it is currently believed that the body is that of a local man reported missing to the police only hours earlier.

The family of the missing man have been informed of this development, and a cordon remains in place.
