Firefighters from Fowey, helped by colleagues from St Austell, tackled a blaze in a barn at Par yesterday (May 24).

The barn measured 9m by 14m and contained a small amount of straw and building materials.

The crews used one jet, two hosereels and two sets of breathing apparatus to put out the fire.
