A 999 caller alerted firefighters to a house on fire – but the lazing building turned out to be a barn.
Two crews from Launceston went to the scene between Egloskerry and Launceston, near New Mills, in the early hours of yesterday (April 17).
Fire had broken out in one corner of a barn measuring approximately thirty metres by 25 metres. Crews wearing two breathing apparatus, used three hose reels to extinguish the fire.
