Arson is suspected to have been the cause of a car fire in Darite last night (December 17).

Firefighters from Liskeard found a single vehicle well alight shortly before 10pm.

Wearing breathing apparatus, they used a high pressure hosereel jet to put out the fire.

Police are making enquiries.
