POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to identify two people in connection with a dog bite attack in Cornwall.
A five-year-old child was bitten on the arm by an unattended dog at around 9.45am on Saturday, July 18, at the Waterfront Portreath bar and kitchen.
The child sustained bruising and was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
The owners of the dog left the scene without providing their details and are believed to be local to the Portreath/Camborne area.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Officers would like to identify the man and woman pictured as they may be able to assist with enquiries.
“Anyone who recognises them or has information to assist is asked to contact police through the force website or by calling 101, quoting crime reference 50260192385.”
