ONE OF the largest steam fairs in the south west was held in Cornwall over the weekend.

Far more than just a gathering of vintage machinery, the Boconnoc Steam Fair is a celebration of history, community, and the enduring appeal of industrial heritage.

Organised by the Liskeard Steam and Vintage Club, the event is well-known for being one of the most popular events on the Duchy’s summer calendar.

Thousands of visitors flocked to admire an impressive collection of full size and miniature steam engines, motorcycles, tractors, classic cars, stationary working engines and commercial vehicles.

Along with the action taking place in the main show ring, the much-anticipated event featured fairground rides, live music, trade stands, craft tents and much more, ensuring fun for all the family.
