The A38 westbound at Menheniot remains closed due to a serious accident. The casualties have been taken to Derriford Hospital but one woman has been seriously injured. Specialist Teams are at the scene investigating the cause of the accident.

A second road closure is in place at Trerulefoot at the junction with Bethany. Police are expecting major disruption to the A38 as a result of this incident and ask motorists to avoid the area at this time. They are thanked for their patience.
