LISKEARD-Looe's under-tens team are continuing training through the usual 'closed' months to enhance their skills and prepare for next season and, of course, provide some activity for local boys and girls from school Year 5.

The training will alternate between Looe beach and the training pitch at Liskeard.

Said coach Gareth Brennan-Welsh: 'We have had a good year focusing on building the team and teaching basic rugby skills and, of course, having some fun.

'The team has grown from just three members to 12. The training will step up a gear so that when the next season starts in September, we are ready.'
