TORPOINT moved up to eighth in the table after this 1-0 win at The Mill in front of a healthy crowd of 107 which subsequently knocked their visitors off top spot.

Said player-manager Bradley Yeo: 'It was a good, solid performance in which our goalkeeper hardly had a save to make.

'It was ironic that the best move of the second half ended with their defender scoring our winner but, having said that, we just shaded a very tight game between two extremely good sides.'

Torpoint started well, with Lewis Pacey going past two defenders before hit-

ting a low 20-yard drive that Joe Tickle did well to save, and they should have taken the lead but Danny Brook shot wide from ten yards.
