TORPOINT Athletic took their unbeaten run to three games with an impressive Wednesday night victory over Carlsberg South West Peninsula League Premier Division leaders Launceston at The Mill.

The Clarets took the first-half honours but couldn't find a way past goalkeeper Dan Batten and his defence.

And the hosts were rewarded with a 58th-minute lead when Jimmy Alexander's right-wing corner was powered home at the far post by the head of Shane White.
