Dave Soady and Ian Gordon, William Taylor and Brian Martyn, Nigel Yeo and Andrew Tamblyn all won four each for the London, while John Bennallick and Nigel Kitto had three and Bob Bettison and Taff Lewis two for the White Hart.

Market A stay in third place following their 10-8 success over Victoria A.

The Market had the contest won in the fifth round, which was just as well for them as Victoria A claimed all three in the final round.

Penny O'Brien and John Vine managed four and Paul Young and Charlie Cullingford, Shirley Vine and Albert Cooper three for the Market A, while Beryl Mitchell and Paul Berry top-scored with five and Pete Hurler and Bill Batten took two for Victoria A.

Cornish Ivy stormed into a 6-3 lead and then took the second half, 8-1, for a 14-4 victory.
