A FIELD of 19 boats took to the water last Saturday for the first race of the new season at Looe Sailing Club.
With crews battling a cold north-westerly wind, the Enterprise section managed the most entries, with some close sailing between all competitors.
Francis Marshall, on his return to the fleet after a five-year absence, took the lead at the first beat and held it until the finish.
