ST COLUMBA and Torpoint Rugby Club held their annual Rugby Sixes touch competition and family fun day at Defiance Field.
The charity event remembers former player Andy Thomson, who died in 2008, and all money raised from the day will go to St Luke's Hospice.
A total of 11 teams took part, initially in a round-robin competition, with winners of the two groups contesting the final. The final was between Torpoint's first team and Fijian Devonport Services.
With the scores at 2-2 at the final whistle, it came to 'sudden death', with Torpoint taking the next try to triumph 3-2. Third place went to Saltash Colts, who overcame Saltash Veterans.
