PENSILVA booked a KMD Developments Knock-Out Cup semi-final date with Godolphin following a superb 3-2 victory over Premier opponents SALTASH UNITED.

The Division One side knew they would have a tough test against last season's finalists, but took the lead after ten minutes when good work from Jack Penhaligan and 'Man-of-the-Match' Jonny Filbey led to Martyn Putt firing home from the edge of the box.

However, the Ashes equalised on 15 minutes when Ryan Tetley beat goalkeeper Richard Rendle to the ball and tapped into an empty net, and then went in front when the same player netted with the last kick of the half.

The second period was a very cagey affair, until Sam Rogers came off the bench to equalise on 70 minutes after Rogers had spilt a chipped effort from Jonny Firth.
