SALTASH remain undefeated this season after posting a huge total of 315 for six in this match at Tintagel. The hosts must have thought they were in a good position when Saltash skipper Ross Braund was out first ball, and star batsman Chris Simpson returned in the pavilion for just 36 – only the second time this campaign he has been dismissed for less than 50. However, Adam Stevenson played a starring role, hitting some monstrous sixes in making a personal best 133 not out.
