The thrills and spills of rallying returned to the glorious Boconnoc Estate, near Lostwithiel, last Sunday as motor sport fans flocked to watch the Bullwell Trailer Solutions Boconnoc Motorsport Carnival.

Dan Wakefield – an M-Sport Fiesta RS constructor (builder/employee) and BTRDA Gravel National hot shot, who is co-driven by fellow South Hams Motor Club member Andy Ballantyne – caused the biggest surprise for the large holiday crowd, many of of whom were attending their first rally or live motorsport event.

Wakefield tried to thread his Ford Fiesta ST through a bale chicane but spectaclarly failed in

his bid.
