A BEAUTIFUL summer's day and a rather fluky north-westerly breeze made for some interesting action in Looe Bay, where positions changed on a regular basis, particularly among the Enterprise fleet. The top four boats competed for podium positions, each trying to cover their rivals with some close racing around the marks. The final beat to the finishing line, off the Hannafore, saw Gareth Shaw choose just the right course to take the gun just ahead of David Jackman and Steve Sargent, with only a couple of feet between them.
