Pensilva stretched their advantage at the top of the J J Jones Builders Duchy League, Premier division to eight points thanks to a 4-1 victory at St Columb Major.

They went ahead through a Sam Rogers goal in the 28th minute after good work by Dylan Peel and Jack Podmore, only for the hosts to restore parity just eight minutes later when Jamie Seary headed home.

Rogers' second, after Karl Gross' run and cross, put the visitors back in front in the 58th minute, and they found some breathing space courtesy of a deflected Jonny Filbey shot in the 66th minute, again after a good run down the left flank by 'Man of the Match' Gross. The Pens then wrapped up the scoring through a Ryan Hooper free kick, 15 minutes from time.
