ST COLUMBA and Torpoint's 'Andy Thompson Memorial Day' proved to be another huge community success, with more than 300 people attending and a large amount of money being raised for St Luke's Hospice. Fourteen teams entered the showpiece rugby , the touch rugby tournament, with clubs such as Devonport High School Old Boys, Saltash and Old Techs among those represented, as well as Edgcumbe Football Club. Both Saltash sides made it to the final of the tournament, with Edgcumbe and St Columba beaten in the semis.
