SALTASH are set for their longest trip of the season tomorrow afternoon when they travel north to Barnstaple Seconds in Counties One Western West (2pm).

The Ashes, who have won just once from five starts, but have picked up a healthy number of bonus points, are without prop Liall Honey who is unavailable, so youth graduate Archie Wood is rewarded for some strong performances and comes onto the bench as Harry Richardson starts at tighthead prop.

James Sutton has recovered from his recent injury and starts at lock in place of Billy Garratt who is also missing, while in the backs, full-back Ryan Cruickshanks swaps with Henry Taylor to start on the wing as Andrew Walsh gets a recall at inside-centre in the absence of Danny Snook.

Axel Nicks and George Howlett come onto the bench for Ryan Simmons and Steve Hillman, both of whom are unavailable.

Saltash, who won at Torquay Athletic 13 days ago, will travel confident as the North Devon outfit have yet to win from their three outings.

Elsewhere around the club this weekend, the seconds are back at home in Counties Three Cornwall as they host Camborne School of Mines (2.30pm), while on Sunday the ladies have a local derby at home to Plymouth Argaum Tigresses in NC 3 Western (West) league (2.30pm KO).
