CORNWALL AC’s Ryan Hanley took victory in the ever-popular Rosemullion 10K on Sunday, October 25.

Organised by Falmouth Running Club and held out of Mawnan Smith Playing Field where the race starts and finishes, Hanley’s time of 41 minutes and 59 seconds was enough to outlast home runners Tom Carthey (42:37) and Olly Poole (43:42), who were second and third respectively.

Truro Running Club’s Anna Harrold was the winner of the ladies race and was 10th overall in 46:41, with visiting runners Michaela Toumi (52:19) and Anna Wallace (53:05) the next best.

Anna Harrold took the ladies title by over six minutes.

The race is set in stunning scenery as competitors wind through countryside trails, coastal paths and fantastic view points around Rosemullion Head and the entrance to the Helford River.

On the team front, eight of the top 23 lady finishers were from Truro which was enough to secure first and second, while Hayle Runners were third ahead of the hosts.

Falmouth had four inside the top 10 to take the men’s crown, while Truro edged out Hayle Runners and Cornwall AC to take second.
