JOLLY'S DRINKS CORNWALL PREMIER DIVISION St Austell v. Callington FOLLOWING the disappointment of their match being rained off on Saturday, bright sunshine greeted Callington on their arrival at Wheal Eliza on Holiday Monday and, after winning the toss, they invited the home side to bat on a soft track. James Turpin, a new signing from Wadebridge, was the first batsman to fall, caught behind by Joe White off Tom Dinnis for six. And skipper Gary Bone had scored 15 when he was out to a sharp slip catch from Matt Robins off Aidan Libby. Aidan Libby scored a quick 19 to almost set up a victory, and Dinnis made 11, before they both fell victim of left-arm spinner Andrew Libby. That left Adrian Robins and Andrew Jones to see out the last two overs and earn Callington a hard-fought draw.
