Four members of Caradon Swimming Club competed in the prestigious National Masters and Senior Age Group Championships, held over three days at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.

Vicki Buck, swimming in the 60-64 years' age group, took the bronze medal in the 200-metre backstroke with a time of 3:43.00.

She went on to double her tally with another bronze in the 100-metre individual medley, clocking a time of 1:44.58.

And to cap off a successful weekend, Buck finished fourth in the 100-metre backstroke in 1:44.40.

Amanda Lossaso finished seventh in the 50-54 years' 50-metre freestyle with

a time of 30.84 – a Cornish record.
