Pirates have raised plenty of booty for a good cause.

Members of Cawsand Bay Sailing Club dressed as pirates to take part in the club’s fourth annual race in aid of the Royal Yachting Association’s Sailability scheme.

The pirate race, which featured 14 boats, this year raised £200 for Sailability which aims to help more disabled people take part sailing.

The best dressed pirates were Penny Knowles and Millie Poet. The best dressed boat was entered by club commodore Mark Lentell and the race winner was Brian Jones.
