Polperro caused one of the biggest shocks in the East Cornwall Premier League for many years as they made history by becoming the first Division One club to lift the Cup.

However, they thoroughly deserved this

victory over Premier opponents Torpoint at St Blazey's Blaise Park on Easter Sunday.

Torpoint took time to get into the contest, and keeper Dan Batten had to save at the foot of a post.

Said Polperro manager Matt Pengelly: 'This is the greatest day in our recent history; I was lost for words after – which doesn't happen often – and I've never been more proud.
