Christmas is now well and truly on the horizon – and the Cornish Times’ latest print edition is marching towards the festive period in fine style.

This week’s edition, out today, features nine pages of local sport, including all of the readers’ favourites.

We lead the back page on a Liskeard mum and daughter who have just played at the Muscular Dystrophy UK Powerchair Football Championships in Nottingham.

There is also good news on the local cricket front, with Liskeard Cricket Club giving us details of a bright future for the club which almost folded earlier this year.
