MENHENIOT-LOOE are celebrating after beating Duloe in the final of this season's Indoor Cup.

They bowled first and, despite dropped catches and numerous overthrows, they restricted their opponents to 160, when at one point they were threatening a 200 total.

Brothers James and Ed Facey were the pick of the bowlers.

Danny Lee and Luke Ripley opened the chase in a positive manner, both retiring not out early on.

Ed Facey batted brilliantly, tucking the ball into the corners and rotating the strike.

Lee came back in with 3.3 overs remaining, requiring 50 runs to win.

The contest was eventually won with seven balls to spare, with Lee hitting six consecutive sixes and taking his chanceless runs for the evening to more than 100.

Ed Facey carried his bat and Ripley was not even required to return to the crease in a remarkable chase.
