HE beautiful settings of the Hannafore Point Hotel in Looe played host as 80 members of Menheniot-Looe Cricket Club congregated to celebrate a highly successful season.

Chairman Paul Juckett thanked those who had helped this year.

The Clubman of the Year award went to Alex Pollard for outstanding efforts taking on two major roles – second XI captain and head barman.

The special 'Chairman's Award' was presented to all four groundsmen – Steve Hitchins, John Kelly, John Shepley and Chris Nance – who worked tirelessly on the wickets and outfield.
