CORNWALL INVITATIONAL PREMIER SNOOKER LEAGUE

THE Eastern Section was thrown wide open as last year's champion, Barrie McIntosh (Tregonissey Social Club), recorded a 4-2 victory over previously unbeaten Darran Lock (Lostwithiel Social Club) to move to within a point of his table-topping opponent.

Team-mates Andrew Best and Gary Spencer (Bugle WMC) also played each other, with Best running out a 4-2 winner thanks to breaks of 36 and 32, with Spencer hitting a 52 in reply.
