The Cornish Marathon, organised by East Cornwall Harriers and the final race of the Cornwall Road Racing Grand Prix Series, attracted 450 entrants.

The race started and finished at Pensilva in dry conditions after overnight heavy rain.

There was also a one mile fun run which attracted a record 189 entries.
