LISKEARD Mayor Simon Cassidy delivered the opening bowl of the new indoor season at Caradon Indoor Bowls Club at Lux Park.

Caradon President Dave Trundle welcomed the Mayor and introduced other club officers and members to the distinguished guest.

He earned the admiration of all present by delivering the bowl to within a yard of the jack.
