Bodmin 17, Liskeard-Looe 24

THE Lions travelled to Bodmin for this group match, missing a number of players through injury and for personal reasons.

The hosts started the better team and were seven points up after just eight minutes.

Liskeard-Looe came back strongly and scrum-half Andy Sheer dotted down for a try, converted by James Noel-Johnson to level the scores.

The result puts the Lions top of the group and if they stay

in that position, it will ensure a home tie in the quarter-finals of the competition.
