CARADON continued their good form with a battling performance against Cornish rivals Bude in a game played in glorious sunshine.

With Bude just missing promotion last year and Caradon beating Bude in a pre-season friendly, spectators were treated to a competitive hockey match.

Olivia Childs and Molly Walsh combined well in the middle of the park, winning numerous penalty corners, though the backboards were well protected thanks to an incredible display by the Bude keeper.
