Veterans’ Cup

Fifty-seven Fossils played in this year’s Veterans’ Cup in predominately warm, dry and pleasant conditions. The fairways were hard and fast and with so much going for them it was difficult to explain why scoring was so difficult.

Only three twos were scored, the lowest for a long time. However, this season a number of Fossils seem able to perform at the highest level week in and week out and this week was no different as Chris Granger took the title with 39 points, closely followed on 37 by David Pover and Ian Edwards.
