Now is the time for Argyle fans to take a leap of faith, writes Ross Reid.

Now is the time to gather your green and white scarves, bobble hats, beanies and don your favourite Argyle shirts for games – home and away.

I know I am asking a lot but what I am really hoping is that you can enjoy and relish this season’s promotion run-in.

We all know that last season ended in disappointment at Wembley. We all know that it doesn’t pay to count your eggs before they hatch.

However what I am most concerned about is that Argyle supporters enjoy these last nine league games of the season.

My mood has been buoyed by Derek Adams telling me that last Saturday’s 2-0 win at play-off chasing Mansfield Town was ‘terrific’.

As well as winning at Mansfield, Argyle followed up with a 1-1 draw at bogey side Wycombe. It’s only my opinion but I would have thought any Pilgrim would have taken a draw at Wycombe before the game.

Now is the time to wipe out the memory of Wembley.

Now is the time to get behind Argyle like never before.

Tomorrow the Greens host a Morecambe side who sit mid-table and have lost three times since drawing 1-1 up the south coast at third-placed Portsmouth, who have just won their last three in a row.

The fear is that tomorrow’s match will be a damp squib – and the weather forecast indicates it could be.

But – hey! – nine games to go and 10 points above the team in fourth place? I would have taken that at the start of the season, wouldn’t you?

Now I am going to take that leap of faith. I want to enjoy the Pilgrims’ promotion run-in. With me? See you at Home Park tomorrow. C’mon you Greens!
