TORPOINT Athletic Youth FC Under-12s and former Saltash United manager Matt Cusack have received accolades in the 2020 Cornwall FA and McDonald’s Grassroots Football Awards.

There were a record number of nominations across all award categories. Torpoint received the ‘We Only Do Positive Respect’ award, while former Saltash United boss Cusack was named Grassroots Coach of the Year for Adults.

Cusack commented: ‘It is a lovely surprise and I’m truly honoured to receive the award.

‘Thanks go to the Cornwall FA, and to my former players and coaching staff at Saltash United. This wouldn’t have been possible without them.’
