The Cornwall Senior Cup third round draw has thrown up some interesting ties - and the stand-out clash sees holders Bodmin Town facing arch rivals St Austell at Priory Park.

Bodmin have won five of the previous seven finals but lost out to St Austell 5-3 in the 2013-14 final.

There is a mouth-watering tie for Saltash United, who are at home to Saltash-based East Cornwall League outfit St Stephens Borough.

St Stephens Borough have had a remarkable season. The club almost folded when many of the players, including the management, departed, leaving new manager Kev McCann to add to the remnants with many of last season’s Saltash Youth players.

Torpoint Athletic, who have not won the trophy since beating Porthleven 2-0 in the 1995-96 season, will not be taking Carharrack lightly as they head the Cornwall Combination League with just one defeat.

Millbrook had a comfortable 7-3 win over Dobwalls in the last round and will relish meeting fellow Peninsula League Division One West visitors Mousehole.

Polperro go to Ludgvan, their third meeting in a row against a Cornwall Combination League opponent and arguably their toughest yet.

Full draw: Bodmin Town v St Austell, Carharrack v Torpoint Ath, Falmouth Town v Camelford, Holman SC v Porthleven, Ludgvan v Polperro, Millbrook v Mousehole, Newquay v St Day, Saltash Utd v St Stephens Borough.

Ties to be played on Saturday, January 14.
