Callington Town Ladies FC won a five-a-side tournament at Plymouth Hope Festival football tournament at the Brickfields in Plymouth. Callington had an unbeaten run throughout the women’s tournament and beat Keyham Development in the final 2-0 to lift the trophy.
Town manager Adam McPherson said: ‘We have retained 90 per cent of the squad but we are still keeping an eye out for talented players who can add to the group. Pre-season is a chance for players to train with us and see how they get on.’ Any interested players should contact Adam on 07970 538967.
