Torpoint Athletic will have the opportunity of gaining revenge over Edgcumbe who beat them 3-2 in last season’s Fred Binks Premier Division Cup Final when the pair meet at Kimberly Stadium, Saltash, on Monday afternoon (2.30pm ko).
Both teams have been in high-scoring form going into the final with Torpoint beating Polperro (4-3), St Dominick (7-0) and Callington Town (5-0), while Edgcumbe saw off Launceston (8-1), Tavistock (4-1) and Bere Alston (4-1).
In the ECPL Premier Division Torpoint’s 7-2 defeat of St Stephens Borough and their 5-2 victory over Plymstock United on Wednesday means they need just seven points from their last six games to regain the title.
