NEW-LOOK Lis-keard Tigers slip to a narrow defeat to St Agnes at Lux Park in their first game of the season.

In the absence of Holly Lemon, Panthers captain Lauren Finch took the WD bib.

A tentative start was made by both teams, but it was St Agnes who opened the scoring, quickly going two goals in front. As Liskeard settled into the game, they matched goal for goal for much of the quarter.

New partnership Lucy Smale and Kay Barker worked hard in defence; supported by Finch, the GA was kept out of the circle, but their excellent GS netted nearly all of her shots.
