TONY Farrant matched his own highest break this season, knocking in a 48 as unbeaten St Dominick A overcame club-mates St Dominick B, 4-1, to open up an 11-point lead at the top of the WH Bond Premier League table.

Second place is still held by St Cleer, whose Kevin Steed produced a 38 break in a 3-2 victory over St Neot A; Steve Courts (31) and Andy Ridgman (41 clearance) replied for the losing side.

Darren Lock cracked in a 45 to keep Looe Social C in with a chance of the runner-up spot as they defeated Pelynt A, 3-2, while James House had a 31 as Torpoint Cons accounted for Essa Club, 4-1.
