Competitors of all ages and abilities took part in two Tempus Leisure triathlons at Siblyback Lake, near Liskeard.

Neil Eddy, who rides for Cycle Logic, stormed home in an impressive time of one hour, six minutes.

Said Eddy: 'I had a really good race today and managed to hold off Mike Birchmoor and Dave Bartlett (who finished second and third respectively).

'I really enjoy the Tempus Leisure open-water events; they are great for training races. The swim was good in the lake, the bike leg was challenging and the run was flat which made it quite a quick 5km.'
