THE Saltash spring series took place over four Saturdays in April, with racing both in Plymouth Sound and up river to Saltash.

It was generally a windy series, with testing conditions particularly for the smaller boats and multihulls.

In the final races last Saturday, Simon Baker's Drama Queen, a Dazcat D1150, consolidated her lead in the multihull series after some exciting moments flying a hull well clear of the water.
