CORNISH cricket has signed up to a new deal with Tribute Ale maker St Austell Brewery.

The agreement between the two organisations sees Tribute continuing as the official beer of Cornwall Cricket with the Tribute branding appearing on the stumps of adult cricket clubs across the county.

A financial commitment will also be distributed amongst those clubs who sign up to help them with their running costs.

Each month St Austell Brewery will also give a case of its award-winning Cornish pale ale to the team that has gone above and beyond, with plans for a special end-of-year award for unsung heroes already in the works.

In 2013 Tribute became the main title sponsor of Somerset County Cricket and appears on shirts in all forms of the game. In addition Tribute is sponsor of Gloucestershire County Cricket team.

St Austell Brewery also supports grassroots rugby in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset as the official beer of South West Rugby, sponsoring 14 different leagues and many local teams. Tribute is the main shirt sponsor of Cornwall County Rugby, plus sponsor of the Cornwall Cup.
