Sally Lobb, assistant coach at Menheniot Village Tennis Club, is celebrating after being presented with the 'James Webster Mem-orial Cup' at the AGM of the Cornwall County Lawn Tennis Association (LTA).

The award is in recognition of her 'outstanding contribution to junior tennis in Cornwall'.

The Menheniot club is an example of how a small, local organisation can offer a full programme of

activities to suit all ages and abilities, which are on a par with larger centres but in the heart of their community.

Although Sally was the recipient of the award, she is just a public face of a group of hard-working, dedicated people whose efforts have made the club so successful.
