LOOE Sailing Club celebrated a fantastic season with their annual dinner and dance, held at Looe Bay Holiday Park and organised superbly, once again, by Gareth Shaw and Verity Pope.

After a meal, which was served by Paul Higgins and his staff, Commodore Sue Dunn congratuated all associated with the club on a successful campaign.

The highlight of the year was the staging of the GP.14 World Championships in August, which prompted the Yachts and Yachting magazine to shortlist the club as one of six nominees for the 'Event of the Year' accolade.
