CARADON claimed this superb victory over Truro B in their final match before the Christmas break.

The hosts Caradon made a slow start and an early exit from Tim Wright, due to injury, left the defence slightly unhinged and having to adjust to an early onslaught.

It was the visitors who opened the scoring when the Caradon defence committed high and left keeper Toby Riddle open to a rattling shot from the Truro frontline.

Within minutes, Truro had scored again and Caradon found themselves with a mountain to climb.

It wasn't long before the East Cornwall side started to develop attacking plays, meaning that they also saw little of the ball in their half. Rewarded with a short corner, Dave Brice converted to reduce the arrears, before the same player then levelled matters just moments later.
