LISKEARD returned to winning ways with an emphatic display against Wadebridge in the first round of the East Cornwall youth Under-16 League Cup.

The game was in the balance for an extended period. However, the Blues had to overcome

a two-goal deficit before running out worthy winners thanks to a superb second-half display.

The home side started brightly, and Matt Pascoe was twice unlucky not to score before they were stung by a Wadebridge opener from a corner.
