STUART Dudley's final game in charge of Saltash United did not end in a manner befitting his reign at Kimberley Stadium, as Paul Blatchford's Liskeard Athletic side thoroughly deserved their 3-1 win under the Lux Park floodlights on Wednesday night.

The Blues shook their visitors by taking an eighth-minute lead, when Ben Collings' superb pass sent Robbie Almond racing clear to lob the ball over a stranded Nathan Murphy.

Saltash came back strongly and should have equalised, but Ross Saint, Gavin Coulton, Demitri Kanaki (twice) and Danny Zalick all failed to hit the target, before the latter's lob was cleared off the line by Connor Brimmicombe.
